Business Support Manager

Halkorb RH, seeks on behalf of its customer, a medical equipment company, a Business Support Manager.

Responsibilities :

Leadership : 

  • Set up a new Business Support Team that is responsible for enabling business performance
  • Act as an active member of the country management team, proactively providing input and feedback on country operations to optimise subsidiary performance
  • Advise, influence and guide other managers in the region on Finance, Logistics and operational implications of business strategies
  • Attract and develop business support talent

Operations:

  • Participate in setting up a new subsidiary and a new business model including direct delivery for the region. This includes building business cases
  • Oversee day to day operations as well as the development and implementation of effective Logistics, Finance, IT and Customer Administration policies. Special focus will be on product flow from production sites in Hungary to end user
  • Prepare external and internal financial reporting, summaries and forecasts of future business growth, financial planning and its integrity, local accounting practices, credit and collections, sales reporting and foster a “no surprises” culture
  • Oversee and manage Transaction Accounting for the subsidiary

  • Analyse new laws, regulations and trends for potential impact on company goals and objectives
  • Develops and maintains a strong system of internal controls in cooperation with Corporate Finance

Stakeholder Management :

  • Manage, maintain and develop relationships with local banking institutions, legal advisors, public institutions, corporate insurance providers, external auditors and tax authorities
  • Build sustainable business relationship and business fundamental with the distributors across the region
  • Maintain regular contact and relationship with the corporate staff functions in order to ensure local adaptation of Corporate function Strategy
  • Participates in global company network and meetings to develop and implement consistent, global programs and practices

Profile :

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum
  • 5 to 7 years of experience within the areas of business support, ideally you have worked within Medical Device or Pharma companies and have good commercial insight
  • People management experience and ideally have also been part of a management team
  • English and French spoken and written is a must, Arabic it is an advantage
  • Entrepreneurail mindset combined with a lot of structure
