National Sales Manager

Halkorb RH, seeks on behalf of its customer, a medical equipment company, a National Sales Manager.

Key responsibilities :

  • Responsible for recruiting, coaching, developing and managing a national sales team for effective national coverage and to optimize sales execution to attain sales and profit targets
  • Responsible for developing and communicating sales plans/strategies/objectives as well as identifying and building rapport with key customers and Independent Distributor Networks
  • Targets acute care and alternate site customers by representing company’s portfolio

Missions :

  • Has top line/turnover  and costs/expenses sales responsibility for the country
  • Defines sales targets and quotas for the country  to meet or exceed KPIs based on forecasts provided by marketing
  • Monitors account performance and redirects efforts when goals are not being met
  • Aligns resources according to strategic objectives of the country
  • Anticipates problems, develops contingency plans and identifies creative opportunities to maintain the organization’s competitive edge
  • Consistently monitors pricing strategy relative to market value of products and services within a defined policy
  • Acts as a liaison between the sales force and other functions in the organization including Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics and Commercial groups in order to develop appropriate product support, pricing and contributes to local sales strategy decisions by appropriate recommendations
  • Drives/contributes to tender processes
  • Develops own relationships with key customers to augment selling effort and negotiates contracts with customers at highest level as needed
  • Accountable for development and follow up on Account Specific Action Plans (ASAP)
  • Recruits and inducts new team members

Profile :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma with proven track record and leadership potential
  • Successful track record in delivering sales targets
  • Previous medical sales management experience with proven success
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM databases
  • Excellent oral presentation skills
  • Language: Fluent  French, Arabic & English
